Little Angels Account

1. This account shall be opened on behalf of a minor but operated by a parent or guardian of above 18 years.
2. This will be a savings only account.
3. The account holder can guarantee a loan taken by parent / guardian.
4. The account will be entitled to distributable surplus.
5. Distributable surplus on the account can only be paid in form of savings or a cheque to registered parent / guardian.
6. The account holder cannot borrow a loan.
7. St. Pauls self-help group deems the child unable to transact hence  cheque cannot be drawn in favour of the child.
8. The account holder has no vote either on their own or via proxy.
9. The guardian /parent shall be the de facto next of kin to this account.
10. The guardian or parent will be consulted and will declare in writing about reverting the funds to the minor when he/she attains the age of 18 years. The minor will have to apply as a member to retain the funds in the self help group.

Requirements:

• A filled little angel’s account registration form.
• Copy of National ID/Passport of guardian/parent and next of kin.
• Copy of Birth certificate/ Notification of birth/ Baptism card of minor.
• Passport size photograph of minor and guardian
