The St Paul’s Self-help group is currently organising its second market day on 3 rd September 2023 at United Kenya Club (UKC) grounds. This follows the success of our inaugural market day in November 2022 which drew the participation of 45 vendors, 12 corporates and garnered the attendance of over 500 guests.
The trade fair aims to showcase and promote goods and services by St Paul’s Self-Help group members, other participating vendors, and corporates to create and environment for business information dissemination and sharing. It will be a free entry event for all visitors, with the expectation of capturing the members and 1,500 parishioners who attend mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Chapel and nearby churches on that day.
This event seeks to achieve the following objectives.
- Promote our members’ business, participating vendors, and corporates by linking them to potential customers and business scaling networks.
- Stimulate social networks between parishioners within and the nearby churches, members, and the community at large.
- Promote St. Paul’s self-help group to the community.
- A funfair event for families to meet and hang out together participating in various family centered activities, i.e., playing, music, food, wine, watching football etc.
- Curate an experience that exposes attendees to investment partners, business opportunities, business information dissemination and sharing, while linking producers to local and regional markets.
